My dad did a house clearance for someone, they wanted rid of everything - and I found this old box full of letters.

They’re dated from like 1931 - 1945. Letters from the war, some including love letters and poems. There’s another box with loads of pictures.

One of the letters had a picture inside, the back of it reading ”just a little something to remind you of that day in (insert date, I can’t quite remember exactly)”. The photo was of their wedding day.

I don’t think I’ve ever cried so much over reading an old letter.
